Memorial Day

On Memorial Weekend, I always make rhubarb crisp with rhubarb from the garden. I must say, it is hard to make crisp look beautiful in a photo, although I'd like points for serving in a pretty bowl with a red rim. But for whatever it lacked visually, it made up for in taste. Yum! Have you ever made rhubarb crisp? Every year I tweak the online recipe from Martha Stewart . This year I left out the vanilla and tried it with Splenda's brown & white sugar-blends. Delicious!

I love the tangy taste of Rhubarb and would happily eat it every day. I've never made a "crisp" version before. It looks absolutely delicious, Anne.

Have been busy lately but will reply to your email later this week if I can. xx

I've made rhubarb crisp many, many times. I love it! I love rhubarb in all of its incarnations. I'm bummed that last summer's flooding killed off my two plants..I didn't think anything could destroy them, but alas, they are gone.

Oh, Evelyn, I'm sorry about your "crop." At least you can head over to the farmers market! Do it and make yourself some crisp.
