The next time you host a party "for girls" check out your local bakery; they may have a specialty that is just perfect for your event. I am all for baking, sewing and crafting things on my own, but sometimes there is a local artist that simply can't be beat.
In December, we served these baby bootie petits fours at my cousin's baby shower (born this week - It's a boy!) and they were simply darling. Delicate white cakes glazed with super-sweet frosting.
Ahhh...the pitter patter of little feet.
