Last Roses of Summer
It has been a wonderful Summer. I am trying to squeak out the last few bouquets, nosegays really, from the garden. An old salt jar holding one rose, one snapdragon, one sprig of ginger mint & one tuft of blue verbena. My husband says that I always love the "next" season best. True, I am planning for college football games & cider mill trips. But I will really miss my roses...
