Button It

Can you believe the selection? Seeing this makes me want to design a necklace out of novelty buttons. Loaded with color and texture (and a dash of humor), it could be the perfect Summer accessory. Talk about taking a plain red t-shirt from zero to sixty! Maybe this will be my Memorial Day project...

Anne,
I love your daily blog! I have totally become addicted and eagerly check each morning. The photography is exceptional. I presume you take most, if not all, of the pictures yourself. I would love to know what kind of camera you use. My 4.0MP has bit the dust (I'm so behind...), so I'm now shopping and the selection of point and shoot cameras is staggering.

Best wishes with your business ventures.

Hi Nola! Thank you thank you for letting me know you love my blog. Please spread the word! Yes, I take all of the photographs and you might be interested to know that my first book (photography, ideas, recipes - inspired by my blog) will be available online next week!
It is called "Moments of Delight." As for my camera, right now I use a Canon PowerShot Digital Elph SD870 IS (8.0 MP). My last camera, which was amazing (and I still use sometimes),was a Canon PowerShot Digital Elph SD400 (5.0 MP). Thin, reliable and beautiful photos - love them both. Thanks for commenting! Anne

Hi Anne,

That's so funny, I've been using a Canon PS ELPH 4.0 and at the time of purchase it was all the rage. I love the camera and have been looking at the Canon ELPH 8.0MP.

That's wonderful news about your book. What website will it be available for purchase on?

Moments of Delight will be availbale at www.anadesigns.com and www.subscribetodelight.com.

I will post an announcement on my blog when it is available. As a matter of fact, I think I will post "coming soon" today to give people the heads up.

The SD870 (still new to me, so I'm experimenting with it) has a 2-sec delay to reduce shutter button shake and has an image stabilization feature - both great.
