A few years ago we had a mid-Winter storm that coated every surface with ice. I could hear the ping-ping of freezing rain hitting the windows all night and I remember wondering if the power was going to go out. By the next morning, the storm had passed and we had bright blue skies and full sun. Each tree looked like it had been dipped in glass. It was a photographer's dream.

A Glass Forest

So very beautiful Anne! Nature putting on a stunning display and the photographer's eye capturing it. Bravo.
We had snow 2 hours away from us. It did not come here, but the winds were dreadful. I came out of the house to get in my vehicle and the wind blew my skirt up. It was NOT a Marilyn Monroe moment I assure you! I ran back inside to put on some dress pants!
