My first surprise this Spring was that my Bleeding Heart was in bloom. I had it in a pot on the patio last Summer and thought that it was an "annual" - I never dreamed that it could "Winter" outside in the cold. But it not only "came back," but grew so quickly that by the time I noticed it, it was in bloom! Hooray!This photo was taken just days before the red heart blossom opened and exposed the dangling white droplet. So pretty!
