The Power of Three

The power of three. Color combinations to make your heart pound. I have been thinking about color lately. How three distinct colors repeated in anything...linens, dishes, flowers can really tell a story.
This flower arrangement (orange ranunculas, green button chrysanthemums and white freesia) was "all I could see" in an overloaded flower market on the Place de la Madeleine in Paris.
Shouldn't color make your heart pound?

Anne, you are right and that particular bunch looks gorgeous.
What a shame we didn't manage to catch up in Paris, that would have been so much fun.
We're home at last and I'm slowly getting around to everyone's blogs ... it takes time!
I'm telling the story of our trip as everyone seems to be interested - that might also take some time.
Thank you too for your note which I read somewhere in France - Montpelier, I think. It was difficult to find computers and to keep up and in the end we sort of gave up trying to blog and spend time with family. Anyway, I hope to catch up soon and scroll back too.
Hope you're well dear. Toodle pip!

Welcome back, Mme Benaut. Oh no, you did not miss me in Paris. I won't be there until May. This Paris photo is one that I took last time I was there. I am so glad you had a wonderful trip. I must say, I have missed your encouraging comments. Welcome back!

Anne,

Although I have only been to Paris once - every Paris picture you post just reminds me of the great time I had and how much I want to go back.

Thanks for the Paris reminders.

Kerrie
