Mother Nature

Doesn't your imagination run wild? We were whizzing down the road in search of a tomato stand when I saw this abandoned barn and said
"Ohhhhh....stop!"

A winding 2-track road leading up to an ivy-covered barn. Look how thick and green the vines are. And the wild sweet pea growing in clusters by the door.

Mother Nature is the caretaker now and she is doing a beautiful job.

Thank you for posting such a beautiful picture! I was just in a small farm town in PA and I loved seeing all the barns.

Anne! I love old barns! I used to take black and white pictures of the ones I came across. They are history and I look at them with wonder! Who built you?, what was your main purpose? Thank you for sharing this!!

You are welcome, Tracy! I love them too.
Lilly - I don't know a thing about this barn, but I love it!

Reminds me somewhat of Dads barn as photographed from the back field. Remember all the tractor & trailer rides Dad used to give to his grandchildren :)
