I was shopping at The Gardens Mall and was surprised to find that there was some sort of car show going on. What caught my eye? The original 1966 Batmobile!
My Dad and I had a wonderful time photographing this historic car from every angle and noticing that all of the special features were labeled: "Bat Scope" and "Emergency Bat Turn Lever" - fun stuff. I also loved that the dashboard was signed by the cast of the show.
But our favorite part was this simple license plate: Gotham 1966.

That would catch my eye, too, Anne! I bet it was fun seeing it in person.
I forwarded my blog post to my brother, who is known for his joyous reation to receiving a "Bat Belt" one Christmas. It was his favorite show for sure.
