Sew Pretty

I think that anticipation is an underrated concept for grown-ups. When I put presents under the tree, I want everyone to:

A) Be excited
B) Think they are too pretty to open
C) Imagine what could be inside
D) All of the Above

I also like giving people something to talk about. Hence, my raspberry & cream sewing theme! I have wrapped all of our gifts in tissue patterns, sewing instructions and a classic raspberry print. By finishing some packages with tape measure ribbon or a homemade belt, the concept is complete.

I absolutely love how this looks and it was sew simple!

Another great idea!! Of course my grandmother would have fainted by you using patterns and sewing notions that she used to use! (She is sewing in Heaven now!)You come up with the best ideas Anne!!
Merry Christmas!!

Thanks, Lilly. I like to think of it as recycling! :-) These are unused patterns I've had in my sewing box for years, so I am sure that they are grateful to be used at all!

Isn't it darling? I just love it.

Definitely "All of the Above". This is so original and the recycling is brilliant!
Sadly I'm not really the creative type but I bought many "top up" gifts from the Op Shop this year - it's amazing what one can find in there!
